Alan Huffman is a freelance writer and author of five nonfiction books, including Mississippi in Africa, We’re With Nobody (coauthored with Michael Rejebian) and Here I Am, the biography of war photographer Tim Hetherington. He is also the editor of four editions of the anthology Attacks on the Press and coeditor of the nonfiction book Lines Were Drawn, about integration at Jackson, Mississippi’s Murrah High School.
